Given this vast untapped youth market, the advertising industry is undergoing a major transformation. Advertisers are looking for new and innovative ways to communicated with consumers -- the youth -- who spend most of their time online.

Advertising companies are adopting new business models so that they can cater to the tech-savvy consumers online.

Search advertising is an important driver especially after Google opened the advertising gateway for online advertisement. Today, the advertisement industry cannot function without technology and ads are becoming more interactive and personalized. The common belief is that the online consumers, who spend hours on the Internet looking for products and services, will be the driving force of the advertising market in the future.

This would explain why there is a sudden spurt of a smorgasbord of “complete” advertising agencies offering a wide array of services under one roof rather than just the traditional ad creation and placement. Today advertising agencies are offering ad creation, ad placement, market research, total advertising campaign -- online and offline, website creation, graphics and much more. In fact, advertising agencies are fast turning into marketing agencies that offer all marketing and PR related services under one roof.

The changing landscape of the advertising industry has changed the way a product or a service has both online and offline presence, and how consumers view and use the product or service. There is no doubt that full-service advertising agencies have changed the way we perceive the advertising industry. These agencies have made the advertising industry more interactive and vibrant. Full-service advertising agencies have definitely paved the way for the future.
